It has all the pro's and cons of living a minimalistic adventurous life style with less financial worries and helped us with choosing the right vehicle for our personal purposes. It also covers safety, preparation, location and earning an income whilst on the road, all the things to consider when deciding to live in a motorhome.

This book is Great resource for newbies of boon docking, I really love seeing how wild camping would actually look for the day. We have always talked about doing it but never have. I think this book makes it a little easier to imagine how it would work. I highly recommend this book for those who want to live in a home with wheels and also to those who owns an RV, this book has a lot of tips and tricks that will keep your RV organized and maximizing every inch of your available storage, you can also learn some key things about RV maintenance that will keep your RV clean and looks good as you bought it, and many more.

Excellent information. Many topics covered but not very in depth (I guess that is what his pay books are for). My wife, 2 cats, 3 dogs (one a Great Dane) and I were thrown into the RV living lifestyle when we moved from Washington to Texas. This was only the second time we had it on the road. We lived in a 28 foot class A motorhome without slides. As pointed out , organization and space utilization is a must. Good general reference and a start for those looking at the RV lifestyle.

For the price of this pamphlet it was not at all what I had expected. I read it in less than 15 minutes. I was so disappointed with the pamphlet (classified as a book). I would not recommend even for beginners.

Title indicates camping, yet all that is covered are some basic tips on cleaning your RV along with some driving advice. And just a bit about RVing with a pet. Nothing about camping in the blindfold (forest).

Ok, some good tips, they are just a compilation of other books on the subject and common sense. I think the Bob Difley book is better for a more definitive guide

Hardly more than a pamphlet, this very slim booklet is also slim on true helpfulness. I expected hacks, not obvious information that's so generic that it's as much a guideline for taking a picnic to the park as advice on how to dry camp in an RV. I downloaded a couple "boxed sets" of supposedly expert info for RV living on my kindle. They were also a dissapointment AND some of the info in this is clearly boilerplate from those in spite of having different authors. If you know how to live in a small apartment, wash your car, pack a suitcase and chew gum at the same time, you won't find much to help you for RV living in this. It's also full of typos.

About the Author

Peter Tregenza is Emeritus Professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield. As an architect and engineer he has been fascinated by the beauty and complexity of daylight for more than forty years, teaching and studying the subject internationally. He has been Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and has worked in schools of architecture in the UK, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand, and China. He has been involved in the research activities of the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage, especially the CIE/WMO International Daylight Measurement Project and European Union programmes. His publications include many research papers on daylighting and he is the co-author with David Loe of The Design of Lighting (Routledge, 1998).

Michael Wilson is Principal Research Fellow in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Westminster, UK. He was Director of the Low Energy Architecture Research Unit from 1987 until 2010. He has undertaken more than 25 research, dissemination and demonstration projects in daylighting, acoustics and energy for the European Commission. In particular he coordinated a research project on sun tracking systems and projects producing interactive teaching packages on daylight. He has lectured in the UK, throughout Europe, in South America and South Africa.
